Overview

For the extreme experience of Himalyas, this safari tour will take you places you wouldn’t have imagined. It covers remotest of places like Jispa and Sarchu villages. The tour will take you across the breathtaking beautiful Leh and Nubra Valley.  On the way to Leh, you will visit Manali as your first stop and can enjoy sightseeing here. However, your journey afterwards will give you some unforgettable experience. Enjoy full day excursion to Rohtang pass for best snow capped mountain experience. This will give you an idea for a thrilling adventure that’s going to come your way next. The tour will offer you once in a lifetime experience.

 

On your way to final destination- Leh, you will cross many small villages like Jispa, Sarchu and more that are very less populated. So, if you want to see local people, you may have to halt for a while. Besides, these spots are major stopovers on your way to Leh which is quite a long journey. As you move ahead of Rohtang pass, you will witness some breathtakingly beautiful views on the way. The serene roads and open sky is spread till where your eyes can see. On your way, you will also drive across Khardungla pass, which is the highest motorable road in the world. Hence, there is no doubt that you are going to have a world-class experience in this 8Nights and 9 days Himalyan Safari. This journey is going to be something that you will cherish for a lifetime.   

Itinerary

Day 1: Chandigarh

On reaching Chandigarh from your destination, you will be assisted by our representative from there on. You will be transferred to Hotel pre-booked for you. Spend your day at leisure and take a stroll if you wish to.

 

Day 2 : Chandigarh - Manali

This morning, you will be heading to Manali via Kullu. On reaching Manali, check into the hotel and rest for rest of the day.

 

Day 3 : Manali

In the morning after breakfast, set out for local sight covering places like Hadimba Temple, Jagat Sukh Vashisht Bath etc. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4 : Manali - Jispa - Keylong

Today, your actual journey begins as you will go to places you have never visited before. You will drive to Jispa via Rohtang pass. Today, the halt will be at Jispa.

 

Day 5 : Jispa - Sarchu

In the morning, after breakfast, head towards Baralacha-la finally reaching  Sarchu. Enjoy the magnificent landscape on the way. Enjoy an overnight stay in tents at Sarchu.

 

Day 6 : Sarchu - Leh

This day is reserved for excursion to Himalyan Safari Drive. On your way drive through Tanglang-la, the second highest road in the world and Lachlang-La pass. Stay overnight in the Hotel and rest.

 

Day 7 : Leh

As you are in Leh, begin your day with a visit to Thiksey Monastery. If you are a morning person, grab a chance to attend the praying ceremony taking place at the monastery. Also visit "Hemis" one of the biggest monastery of Leh and Shey Palace. Later in the afternoon leave for a guided tour to visit Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, the King’s Palace and Shankar Gompa. After such an excursion, retire for a night in the hotel.

 

Day 8 : Leh - Khardungla Pass – Leh

In the morning start for Khardungala Top, the World highest motorable road. While on the way to the top, get a chance to witness some fascinating view of the Leh and Nubra valley. Return to the hotel by afternoon. Evening could be enjoyed your way at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel for a fresh morning.

 

Day 9 : Leh - Delhi

Post breakfast leave for Leh Airport for boarding flight back home.
