Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi / Chandigarh via Mansa Devi Temple - 6 hours

Your holy visit begins as soon as you land in Delhi. You will be assisted to Chandigarh while taking a visit to Mata Mansa Devi Temple. After darshan at Mansa Devi, we leave for Chandigarh and check into the hotel for an overnight stay. You will be exhausted enough to sleep soundly as soon as you are done with the dinner.

 

Day 2: Chandigarh - Nainadevi  (125 Km 2hrs ) - Chintpurni/Sheetladevi (150 Km. 2 ½ hrs) – Kangra (70 Km 1 ½ hrs)

 Today, your journey towards nau devi begins and this morning you will be visiting Naina Devi Temple in Bilaspur. One of the 51 Shaktipeethas, Naina Devi Temple is a popular pilgrimage site in Himachal Pradesh. After Darshan, leave for Sheetla Devi Temple which is dedicated to Mata Sheetla Devi. Also visit Chintpurni Temple, a sacred temple that holds immense religious importance.

                                       

Day 3 : Kangra - Jwala ji (35 Km 1 hr.) / Bhagula Mukhi / Kangra Devi / Mata Kapal Pathri / Mata Kangraji /Mata Jawala ji

Today is the day for spiritual enchantment for which you will leave for Dharamshala today. The drive is long so as you reach, you will check into the hotel as you reach. However, on the way in kangra, you will seek the blessing of Mata Jwalaji, a revered temple dedicated to Goddess Jwalamuski, Kangra. Post Darshan, visit Maa Bhagula Mukhi Temple and take the blessings of Maa Bhagula who is known to be the source of knowledge in the universe. Visit Kangra Devi Temple where Maa Kangra is worshipped in the form of a ‘pindi.’ You are free to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 4: Kangra – Chamunda Devi (70km. 1½ hrs.)  - Dharamshala (30km. 30 Minutes) – Dalai Lama Monastery

Today, you will be visiting the famous Chamunda Devi Mandir on Dharamshala-Palampur way. Seek the blessings of Maa Chamunda and enjoy your day taking a tour in the temple. After that, you will be taken to sightseeing around Dharamshala. Visit attractions like Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsu Nag temple.Get back to the hotel by evening and stay overnight and relax.

 

Day 5: Dharamshala / Katra (250 Km. 5 - 6 hrs.)

Leave for Katra via Jammu this morning. On your arrival at Katra, check-in to the hotel. Spend your day the way you want to. You can go to explore the local market of Katra.

 

Day 6: Katra Vaishno Devi

Early morning, your pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi begins with a trek. One of the holiest shrines in India, Vaishno Devi Temple is the abode of Maa Vaishno Devi, who is also known as Mata Rani.

 

Day 7: Katra / Amritsar - (270 Km. 5 - 6 hrs.)

A trip to another popular pilgrimage Golden Temple in Amritsar begins from here in the morning. Start driving to Amritsar and en-route visit Wagah border. A popular attraction of Amritsar, Wagah border is the border connecting India and Pakistan. The key highlight of the place is the evening ceremony that takes place every day. After such a long journey, you would want to rest and relax at the hotel.

 

Day 8: Amritsar / Delhi – (500 Km. 9 hrs.)

After a long 8 day tour, enjoy your morning breakfast without any haste and get ready to sightsee the important places of Amritsar like Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple. In he afternoon, post lunch we will drop you to your respective boarding places wither Airport or Railway Station at Delhi. Hope you enjoyed the tour.
