Itinerary
Day 01: ~ Transfer From Chandigarh to Sarahan
On your arrival at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station, you will be escorted by our tour representative. we will advance to Sarahan by road. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: ~ Transfer From Sarahan to Sangla
After a hearty breakfast, you will leave to witness one of the Sarhan's most enchanting temple - The Bhimakali temple. This temple is one of the famous 51 Shakti Peehts which indeed is very scared to Hindus and their beliefs. You will reach Sangla by evening and you can choose to stay in a luxury tented accommodation or a hotel, suiting your needs. After the refreshment you can go for a walk to experience the true beauty of Sangla. Walking through the Kamru and Sangla villages you will get the chance to interact with local people who will amuse you by their local tales. Sangla valley also known as Bapsa valley is formed by Bapsa river in Kinnaur district, after a tiring yet enjoyable day, spend a relaxing night at the hotel in Sangla.
Day 03: ~ Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley
After having a delicious breakfast, you will visit Kamru Fort that is almost 2km from Sangla valley. Kamru Fort is known for its historic tourist attraction and has some stunning views of magnificent Himalaya. Inside the fort there is a shrine to Kamakhaya Devi, believed to be brought from Guwahati, Assam. Witnessing the breathtaking view of Raldang peak we will further drive from Sangla to Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-Tibet border. After spending a quality time with nature, we will drive back to Sangla for an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: ~ Sangla to Kalpa 2,758 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)
The next day we will drive to Kalpa - a home to many Hindu shrines and Buddhist monasteries. We will halt at Reckong Peo where you can buy Kinnauri shawls and caps, accordingly explore the local market. You can enjoy your lunch in any local restaurant which offers the best Indian, Chinese, Tibetan and local food. You will reach Kalpa by evening, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: ~ Kalpa Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will take a tour from Kalpa village through beautiful apple orchards and further reaching Roghi village. These villages are immensely covered with pine forest and alluring apple and apricot gardens. Through these lush green orchards and sky touching pine trees you may witness a breathtaking view of majestic Mt. Kinner Kailash. After all the sightseeing you will go back to the hotel.
Day 06: ~ Transfer From Kalpa to Shimla
After breakfast we will advance the journey to Shimla through Narkanda, you can stop over for some photography. You may want to capture the natural, panoramic and scenic beauty in your camera. Enjoy your stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 07: ~ Shimla-Chandigarh (130 Kms,3-4 Hours)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport. Hope you enjoyed the trip.
