Itinerary

Day 01:  Transfer From Chandigarh to Narkanda

As you arrive at Chandigarh Airport/ Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative. The 8 hours long car ride can be little tiring but surely pleasant. You will get to see some beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda surrounded by alluring apple orchards. Spend a relaxing night at the hotel.

Day 02:  Transfer From Narkanda to Sangla via Saraha

Post breakfast, onboard to our next destination Sangla via Sarahan. This day includes a visit to Hatu Peak (3,400mts/ 11,154ft.), temple of goddess Kali, Hawa Mahal, cricket ground and an ancient Mahal of king of Himachal Pradesh. Hatu peak is surrounded by majestic mountains, dense green blanket of cedar and fir trees. A visit to beautifully wooden carved temple of goddess Kali is recommended. After the short tour to these places we will continue our journey to Sangla valley. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03:  Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley

Today you will be witnessing the natural sightseeing attractions of Chitkul Sangla valley that will revive your energy to another level. Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-Tibetian border that will surely renew the whole definition of natural beauty. The Kamru village and the fort has an inbuilt temple, dedicated to Goddess Kamaksha Devi is surely a relaxing treat to your eyes and soul. The mesmerising scenic view will leave you spellbound, you can even have a little chit chat with the local people. Enjoy your night at the hotel.

 Day 04:  Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

After breakfast we will be driving to Kalpa village, a 2-3 hours ride. On the way, a halt at Reckong Pe which is a true showcase of serene beauty. You can enjoy the excellent panoramic view over a delicious lunch at any local restaurant. The eye catching apple and apricot trees, the glimpse of magnificent Mt.Kinner Kailash and other thrilling yet magical encounters are part of the journey. Spend a peaceful night at the hotel in beautiful Kalpa Valley.

Day 05:  Kalpa to Tabo 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (190 Kms / 9-10 hrs)

Today we will be driving to Tabo, a long ride of about 9-10 hrs journey. The trip will be full of never ending scenic views. The simplicity of the villages like Puh, Nako and Gue will make you crave for more serenity and pleasant encounters. At Gue you will get the chance to see the preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk (600yrs old). After a tiring but a soul refreshing day you can retire yourself in your rooms at Tabo.

Day 06: Tabo to Kaza 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet, (49 kms / 9 hrs)

Today, you will visit one of the ancient, biggest and pious monastery of the Himalayas. Tabo Monastery is known for its exquisite sculptures, mud statues and unique old paintings. The ride to Kaza is 2-3 hrs drive, in between you can stopover to enjoy the hospitability of a local family over a cup of delicious tea/lunch. You can explore the area too. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 07:  Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs).

After breakfast, enjoy a refreshing drive to Lagnza and explore the different items of every kind in local market. Spend a wonderful time chit chatting with local people. If the weather conditions permits, a drive to the highest located village- Hikkim can also be planned. Kee monastery and Kibber village will be the key attractions of trip. Enjoy a delightful lunch at any local restaurants. Return back to Kaza and retire to your hotel room.

Day 08: Kaza to Chandratal Lake

Get ready for an exciting car ride to Chandratal lake by crossing Kunzum la pass and Baltal. The captivating view of peaks and the raw beauty of the surroundings is a cherry to the cake. Spend the rest of your day in appreciating, exploring or maybe meditating to regain and refresh yourself from within. Spend the night and embrace nature to fullest by setting camp at Chandratal lake.

Day 09: Chandratal to Manali 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet ( 100 kms /05 hrs)

An early drive to Manali can shiver you down, so pack some warm clothing. The breakfast will be done at Chandratal lake camp. The journey covers the crossing  through Kunzum pass (4,558 meters/ 14,950ft.) and Rohtang pass (3,980 meters/ 13,058 ft.). Enjoy an exciting and adventurous ride to Manali. Check in to your hotel to spend an overnight stay.

Day 10:  Manali to Chandigarh (310 kms – 09-10 hrs)

The last day of the trip includes a drive back to Chandigarh via Kullu. You can visit Hanogi temple and Pandoh dam on your way. You will be transferred to Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station from where you can proceed the journey to your respective cities. Hope you enjoyed the journey.
